FAQs

What is the difference between the Cakez and the Cupcakez?

One unique aspect of our program is the way players "level up" through their lacrosse journey with us. As they advance, their team identity evolves while staying connected to the Cakez Lacrosse family. U12 players start as Cake Pops, U14 become Cupcakez, and our high school athletes are Cakez. While the logos on their jerseys change to reflect this progression, the core program, coaching, and values remain the same. It’s a fun and meaningful way to celebrate growth and development within our lacrosse community!

What is the practice team?

Our Practice Team is designed for families who may not be able to commit to tournaments but still want their player to develop and improve their skills. Players on the practice team receive the same jersey and shorts, making them a full part of the Cakez Lacrosse family. While they won’t compete in tournaments, they still get the full Cakez experience. High-quality coaching, skill development, and the chance to grow in a supportive lacrosse environment, all without the added tournament costs.

Is there a place to buy Cakez apparel?

It's currently in the works and will definitely drop before our first tournament! We’ll make a big announcement to keep everyone in the loop, so stay tuned. It’ll be worth the wait!

Sibling Discount

We offer a sibling discount (25%) for families with multiple players in our program! It’s our way of making it easier for everyone to be part of the Cakez Lacrosse family while keeping the game accessible for all. All teams will practice at the same time and at the same complex.

Payment Plan

We offer a payment plan for families who may need it because we believe lacrosse should be accessible to everyone. If you need assistance, reach out to us. We’re happy to work with you to find a solution that fits your family’s needs.
